Download Instant Linux
Instant Linux works with Windows 95, 98, ME.
It does not work with WinXP and Win2K yet, but will very soon.
The largest distribution requires that you have 800 MB of free
space on a hard drive in your system and at least a Pentium 300 with
128 MB of ram. Since its download is so large, it might be best to
only chose it if your Internet access is faster than a telephone
modem. The smaller distribution that you can choose to download, named
Peanut Linux, has less applications but it is a capable distribution
and will not take more than a few hours to download with a telephone
modem. It requires that you have 350 MB of free space on a hard drive
and at least a Pentium 120 with 64 MB of ram. Both Linux distributions
should run with less than 128 MB of ram, but slowly. Full
configuration after installation may require some reading. We hope to
automate all of the configuration in future releases, but for now,
only SuSE Linux can auto configure nearly all of your setup.
